What does a DSG Gearbox service look like?

When we service a DSG gearbox we replace any contaminated oil with new oil. Often faults happen on DSG gearboxes because the oil becomes contaminated and it does not do its main job of lubricating gears and cooling the box. Faulty oil causes heavy gear shifts which you will feel because the vehicle will jerk and shudder when trying to change gear.

When carrying out a DSG gearbox service you will need the proper diagnostic tool to ensure the correct level of oil is filled into the DSG gearbox. The wrong levels of oil filled up in a DSG gearbox can lead to poor performance which means you must get the level needed right.
