Fiat Servicing in Cardiff
We service and repair the full Fiat range from our workshop on Sloper Road in Cardiff – 500, Panda and Tipo, plus the Ducato and Doblo vans.
The Ducato is one of the most common base vehicles for motorhomes and light commercials in the UK, and we service and MOT both the vans and the cars.
For larger vans and motorhomes we offer Class 4, 5 and 7 MOT testing. Everything from an interim service through to engine and gearbox work is done here rather than sent out, and you get a diagnosis and a price before any work begins.

Interim Fiat Service from £79
An interim service covers oil, filter and a full safety check between the main services. Fiat intervals are shorter than most people expect, particularly on the MultiJet diesels where a stretched oil change is what kills turbos. We use the correct specification, carry out the checks and reset the service indicator properly.
We upload digital service records to Fiat database
We are an independent garage but we still upload all of your service history to the Fiat digital website as we are registered with Fiat allowing us to upload all service history. We can also provide you with a copy of entry so you know service history has been uploaded to Fiat.
Fiat Brake Service from £100
Fiat brakes are mostly straightforward, and on the smaller cars they are cable handbrakes rather than electronic. Where an electronic parking brake is fitted we retract the calipers in software instead of forcing them. We fit discs and pads to original specification or better, and read the ABS module if a warning light has stayed on.
Fiat MOT Test from £35
The Fiat MOT failures we see most are corrosion underneath on the older Punto and Panda, worn front suspension arms and drop links, headlamp aim, and emissions on the MultiJet diesels. We test on site and tell you what has failed and what it will cost before anything is started.
Fiat Dualogic gearbox servicing
The Dualogic gearbox in the 500, Panda and Punto is an automated manual, not a torque converter automatic. It is essentially a manual gearbox with a robot operating the clutch and selector, which is why it shifts the way it does, and it is also why the failures are usually in the hydraulic actuator unit and its pump rather than in the gears. Symptoms are a refusal to select gear, a flashing display, or the car sitting in neutral. After any clutch work these need their adaptations relearning properly or the shift quality never comes back, and that step gets skipped more often than it should.
Fiat Engine repair, supply and fit service
Most of our Fiat engine work is on the 1.2 and 1.4 FIRE petrols, the 0.9 TwinAir and the 1.3 and 1.6 MultiJet diesels. On the FIRE engines it is the cambelt and water pump; on the MultiJet it is more often injectors, turbo and EGR. We diagnose it first and tell you honestly whether a repair or a replacement engine is the better spend.
Fiat ADAS Re-calibration services
The later Tipo, 500X and Ducato carry driver assistance cameras behind the windscreen and radar sensors in the bumper. A new screen, a front end repair or a change of ride height puts them out of calibration. We have two ADAS bays with the manufacturer procedures, and we also recalibrate at body shops on request.
Fiat electric and hybrid vehicle servicing
We service the 500e and the E-Ducato alongside the petrol and diesel cars, plus the mild hybrid 500 and Panda. High voltage system checks, charging faults, range complaints and 12 volt battery problems that leave the car dead. An electric Fiat still needs brakes, tyres, filters and air conditioning, and we do all of it.
We invest in Fiat diagnostic equipment
We use manufacturer level diagnostics on Fiats rather than a generic code reader. That means the proprietary fault codes read properly, module configuration and proxy alignment when a unit is replaced, and access to the body and comfort modules a cheap scanner will not see. Live data logging on the road is available for intermittent faults.
