We have 20 years’ experience in the vehicle service trade and are a UK leader when it comes to investment in vehicle technology. We are an independent garage and are also a part of the Bosch car service network recently being recognised as one of their best independent garages in the UK and Europe. Here is our garage pictured below based in Cardiff, Wales.

We were one of the UK’s first ADAS calibration centre’s and the first to invest in the technology from its first launch at Automechanika, in Germany. We noticed the importance in this new technology and quickly adapted to the market training our staff to IMI AOM 230 standards. Due to our specialist knowledge, we have developed our own diagnostic tool solution providing diagnostic support remotely to other garages all over the UK.
We undertake insurance mechanical work using Thatcham methods to help body shops achieve their key-to-key demand. Along with the coding and programming and ADAS and alignment in house we have created a specialist demand in Wales. Here are photos of our ADAS facilities.

We invested in all the dealer diagnostic tools allowing us to program code and retro fit in house and remotely. We undertake automatic and manual transmission rebuilding in house creating our own tooling for repairs and R and D research on common issues that occur, this in-house research helps create solution’s passing these methods over to other trade accounts. We work with main dealers in Wales such as BMW, Toyota, Lexus and VAG group aiding them in repairs and electrical troubleshooting.
We stay ahead by carrying out a number of training and development programmes with ZF dual and wet clutch training done for staff in house. We have invested in Hunter alignment training, along with MET trained technicians. Here are vehicles having the wheels re-aligned using our Hunter tech.

We realised a big gap in the insurance automotive industry for body shops to hire and train technicians with a skill and technician shortage in the industry. We took it upon ourselves to train technicians to understand mechanical damage, training them to MET qualifications. This has helped the automotive trade move forward and to help plug the shortage.
We are now applying for BSI kitemark. We will be the very first independent garage to strive for this, creating a repair centre that is focused on mechanical work only without panel and paint.
More about our independent garage
We look after a fleet of 846 vans for a company offering a 2 hour no book system, we hit 96% of our 2-hour target window in 2024 getting the drivers back on the road within the time stated. Work carried out for this fleet could be anywhere from electrical work such as wiring repairs to mechanical. Again, creating a specialist service within our industry, EV training level 4, undertaking all aspects of work from loom battery replacements, isolation on site for body shops and garages across Wales. Here is one of our mechanics working on a vehicle from a local business.

We realised the skill shortage in the marketplace for insurance body shops, and quickly realised the gap in the market to train and offer a professional service. We studied their key-to-key demands with work providers and realised we could gain a sector within this.
Visiting Automechanika Germany for many years, listening to seminars we realised the importance of ADAS technology. We took an expensive leap at the time to capture the market. Being the UK’s first ADAS centre at the time even undertaking work for main dealers who didn’t know about this new ADAS technology.
Our R and D in making tools for automatic gearboxes and manual has been something we have done for years with ZF training and LUK clutch training. We have always remained ahead of our industry.
Our experience in vehicle servicing set’s us above others in the vehicle service trade. We have always aimed to be a specialist in our industry from our very beginning, that was our goal over 20 years ago and it is our goal today, our recent investment in tech and training is evidence of this, including our track record in the past.
We have worked with our sister company Major Motors for many years becoming the UKs largest importer of engines and gearboxes from Japan in 1987 to 2000. We have experience in supplying the whole of the UK with low mileage used engines and gearboxes. We exported engines and gearboxes around the world, from Norway, France, Germany, and USA. Even having a centre in the USA in 1993. We always wanted to help lead the training and technology as it advanced and have always stayed ahead.
Due to supply and demand we have expanded our independent garage to 14 vehicle service ramps, including installing 6 diagnostic bays and remote diagnostic tools to service vehicles remotely. Only recently have we opened up another 7500sqft of floor space to cope with growing demand as more independent garages, body shops and insurance companies use our services.
Our remote business we feel is helping the industry move forward, allowing other automotive organisations to use our services that help them ensure they can offer the same services we do. We do the investing in technology, so other’s do not have to.
