Its main symptom was that the vehicle was sitting low to the ground, a classic sign you have a rear air suspension fault. The warning dash light had also come up on the dashboard of the Mercedes Viano. On inspection we could see that the air suspension compressor had become faulty because it was not running at all, meaning it was dead likely caused because of overheating.

We replaced the compressor, and the vehicle is now sitting above the ground at the correct height. The compressor switch is now communicating with the suspension control module and ECU to ensure the suspension works exactly how it should.
