What does ADAS stand for? It stands for “Advanced Driver Assisted Systems”. In the modern era vehicles are equipped with driver assisted systems helping motorists drive their vehicles out on the road. A few examples of driver assisted systems are as follows:

– ISA meaning “Intelligent Speed Adaptation System”. This system helps the driver stay within traffic speed limits. On a 50mph road this ADAS system will detect that speed limit of 50mph and make sure your car, or vehicle does not go above that limit. This ADAS system ensures that you will never get in trouble with road law enforcement.

– The next ADAS system we will look at is the ACC, or more commonly known as the “Adaptive Cruise Control System”. This ADAS system ensures you maintain a safe distance between vehicles when driving on the roads. This system helps motorists avoid collisions out on the road.
