On May 5th we wrote about the electrical car industry. We spoke about Tesla and how their sales have dropped. But we were still optimistic that the electric car market was still a growing market. The reasons our independent garage gave for falling Tesla sales was this. Other car manufacturers like Audi, BMW and Mercedes were all catching up with Tesla in electrically powered vehicle development.

We have kept our eyes peeled on this matter, because electric vehicles are going to become the way of the future. Our thinking looks to be correct having recently read an article published by Bloomberg. They showed that sales purchases for electrical vehicles for other manufacturers other than Tesla were growing. For example, Hyundai-Kia sales purchases for electrical vehicles jumped to a 56% increase and Ford to a 86% increase in the first quarter of the year. Here is a graph showing Tesla sales declining, but other vehicle manufacturers electrically powered vehicle sales doing very well.

So, Tesla sales are declining. But other vehicle manufacturers in the electrical market are booming. We feel our assumption has been correct, that other manufacturers developing vehicles in the electrical market have caught up with Tesla.
