ADAS systems on a vehicle are more commonly known as driver assisted systems. We counted 35 driver assisted systems on a vehicle just last week at our independent garage.

ADAS systems are being so commonly used on vehicles the DVSA are seriously considering whether to include them in MOT tests. This is to ensure their safety when being used out on the road.

Whether this is a good thing or not, it does not matter to A1 Diagnostics because we can check the ADAS systems during the MOT stage, or when you book your vehicle in for recalibration separate from an MOT.
