A vehicles wire loom is a component that will contain all the wires and hoses in the engine area. Its responsibility is to prevent damage to the hoses and wires from heat, chemicals and engine vibrations. However, if it becomes damaged and faulty it will not protect the engine from overheating. This was why the Peugeot vehicles engine was overheating.
