We are predicting that the next few months garages in Cardiff are going to be hotting up. What do we mean? With restrictions in Wales being lifted more and more this means vehicle use is only going to increase, the roads are going to be cram packed again and the rush hour traffic returning to the streets of Cardiff.
Vehicles that have not been used regularly are probably going to have some sort of problem developing over time. Even if a vehicle has not been used much it can still develop issues that can be hazardous when driving out on the road. For example, brake discs can rust and will need to be checked, you could be driving out on the road with dangerous brakes.
Here are a few other items you should check when firing your vehicle back up:
Fuel levels: Does your vehicle have enough fuel in the tank, check this straight away as you don’t want to be flying down the motorway and you run out of fuel especially when the motorways are busy.
Battery: The battery is a vital part of the vehicle; without it you do not go anywhere. If the vehicle has been static over a long period of time, then this means the battery could have run down in energy, before you know it you’re out on the road and you stall and the car won’t start because the battery is flat.
