We have written many times why we are a turn to garage when it comes to turbo repair or replacement on vehicles. Here is a Land Rover vehicle in the garage having a complete turbo replacement.

There are many reasons why a turbo can fail on a vehicle but before we get into that what is a turbo in the first place. Well to put it simply a turbo or more commonly known as a turbo charger is a device fitted to a vehicles engine that increases power output by forcing more air into the engine. It makes your vehicle go faster.
However, when your turbo stops working most vehicles go into limp mode or some kind of safe mode. This is an indication that you have a turbo fault. Another classic sign you have a turbo fault is you will see white smoke being blown out from the exhaust.
There are many signs that could be visible that could indicate you have a turbo charger fault. We have therefore put together an infographic to better inform motorists of turbo faults. Take a look below.

If you are experiencing any of the following faults shown in the infographic do not worry. We can help you here at A1 Diagnostics. Our mechanics have a combined 75 years’ experience here at the garage. When you leave your vehicle with us for turbo charger repair or replacement it is in the safest of hands.
