Over the last few days, we have been talking about how we are transitioning from combustion engines to electrical technology when it comes to vehicles. It is interesting to read Ola Källenius, CEO of Mercedes-Benz parent company Daimler.

Ola has committed Mercedes-Benz to continue in the production of combustion engines as long as it is commercially viable. This is yet another indication that vehicles out on the road are going to be going in the way of electrical, and combustion engines are going to be phased out. Who would have thought this could have happened so quickly?

In one of our most recent articles, we did mention that the BBC were reporting that electrification would come sooner rather than later. We saw the change happening as far back as 2015 which is why we invested in our state-of-the-art vehicle electrics bay, as vehicles had more and more electrical technology on them that needed servicing. Here is our electrical bay pictured below.

We are certified with BOSCH and are ready for the new electrical revolution.

Through BOSCH we are providing training for all our mechanics on how to service electrically powered vehicles. We already have a vast amount of knowledge under our garage roof, but by continually training our mechanics means we will stay ahead of the change in technology when it comes to electrically powered vehicles.
