Next up we are going to look at the work we have been carrying out for a Mercedes white c-class. This vehicle came to our garage experiencing all kinds of problems. Here is the Mercedes loaded on to one of our 14 vehicle service ramps.

The vehicle was having problems moving forwards. Mainly hearing large grinding and knocking noises coming from the engine. We diagnosed the fault and could see the vehicle had a timing chain fault.

This is what happens when a timing chain becomes faulty or through time worn down through wear and tear. It will affect the engines performance. Not only can it cause engine performance problems, but a faulty timing chain can also cause further damage to the engine and other vehicle components.

When we were inspecting the vehicle, we could see that the water pump had also sustained damage. We therefore had to replace the pump to ensure that the engine had a pump that would help its performance.
